Dear Ahmed,
I am very happy to write you this email. I hope that you are well. I have not heard from you a long time ago. I
am writing this email to invite you to visit my country. In my home country the UAE there are many places that
are exciting to visit such as Burj Khalifa. It is the tallest building in the world. It is built of concrete, glass, and
steel. The tower reaches so high in the sky that people can see it from 95 km away. There are hotels, shops
apartments, coffee shops and offices. It has the world’s fastest elevator, which climbs 162 storeys, in just
seconds. Not only is Burj Dubai the highest building in the world, this breathtaking tower reminds the world of
the Middle East’s wealth and success.

I am going to write about my charitable causes and fundraising. Fundraising means raising money or collecting
clothes and food for poor countries and people. We have been helping to raise funds for the library this summer.
We are helping to collect enough money to help the library to buy new computers. We are happy because our
library is beautiful and has computers. In the future, I would really like to continue donating and helping needy
people .I think being part of a fundraising activity shows how generous and helpful we are to each other. Charity
is needed in our society nowadays, so we must encourage doing these works

grandfather is a good person. He is 65 years old. He always teaches me good habits. He usually takes me with

the trees in our garden. I have also the nicest grandmother. She makes the most delicious food. I enjoy eating her
food. When I am sick my grandmother always cares me. Before sleeping my grandfather always tells me funny

Hello, I’m Hussein. We are not going on holiday this year. I am going to write about my next summer holiday. I
am going to visit my uncle in Dubai. I miss them very much. Dubai has many beautiful natural scenes such as Al
Safa park. We are going to visit Dubai Zoo. It is very big and has many endangered animals. Besides, I like lions
and birds there. We will also visit Dubai mall that I like very much. I will see the water dancing fountain.
Furthermore, we will probably go on bike rides and have picnics. At the end of the holidays, Mum says I can
have my friends from school to stay for a few days. It will be great to catch up with them

I am going to write about my free time activities. In my free time I like to play video games and watch TV

watching TV at home and 5 hours playing football in the club or the park. Also, I spend 4 hours in camping in
the desert. I think these activities give me a good chance that helps me to relax and study well.

When I arrived at the airport, I went to the check-in desk. I showed them the ticket and my passport. After that, I
went to the security control then to the departure lounge. When I was at the gate, I showed them my boarding
card to get on the plane. When I got off the plane, I went to the passport control. Then, I collected my bags at the
baggage reclaim. I went through the customs. Finally, I left the airport through the gate and began my holiday

Write a paragraph about an extreme thunderstorm
Thunder and lightning always go together because thunder is the sound that is made by lightning. This means
that lightning is always followed by thunder. When a thunderstorm is a long way away, you see the lightning,
but you might not hear the thunder. Thunderstorms happen more often in hot climates and more often in summer
than in winter. The temperature of lightning is measured in degrees Celsius. Lightning is close to 30,000 degrees
Celsius. When you see lightning, start counting one, two, three for each second. Continue counting until you
hear thunder. Three seconds equals about one kilometre. So if you count to six, the storm is about two kilometers
away. But if you only count one or two seconds before you hear thunder, the storm is very close. Take care

I am going to talk about an eco-city. Buildings will have green roofs to protect them in summer and winter
Green roofs also help the building last longer by protecting them from the sun. Houses will be fitted with solar
panels that will help provide electricity they need. Green spaces will be located all through the city. They are
beneficial because they filter pollutants and dust from the air, they provide shade and lower temperatures and
they even reduce erosion of soil into waterways. A metro will be put in place to make public transport easy and
help reduce car emissions. Sewage will be recycled to produce water that is suitable for irrigating green areas
and crops. All of these things will help to make a healthier environment to live in. I think it will be an amazing
city
